It’s what is done to fix a uterine inversion, which is when the uterus turns inside out. That can happen when the placenta does not separate completely and the umbilical cord is pulled.

How can menstruation take place during pregnency?

Today during my obstetrics lecture our professor told that menstruation takes place during pregnency but the women does not bleed since the fetus is blocking the passage. But how is it possible? Isn’t menstruation the shedding of endometrium, then how can it shed during pregnency? I am confused. Please help.

That doesn’t sound right to me at all. Pregnancy hormones prevent ovulation and menstruation during pregnancy. Yes, some women do get bleeding around the time of their period in early pregnancy, and there are many, many reasons for bleeding during pregnancy. But his explanation doesn’t sound right. The endometrium thickens up during pregnancy, but it doesn’t regenerate itself the way it does during a regular menstrual cycle.

I would approach your professor and ask him to clarify that point. Make it sound like you misheard him, because sometimes professors can get very aggressive when called on mistakes or questions. They are generally so used to being right.

Anestheosiology physician assistants help anethesiologists and give out the anesthetics prescriptions.In addition to their normal duties, physician assistants are trained to operate machinery and perform specialized steps such as starting IVs, auto rapid machines, intra-aortic ballon pump machines and cell savers.Physician assistants who specialize in anethesiology also have the option to practice in sub-speciality fields like liver, neuro, and heart.

So, it is easy to see that physician assistants are needed in many areas of medicine.The states differ when it comes to laws about physician assistants.Every PA must be thorough with state laws governing the profession.Also, they have to have a proper amount of malpractice insurance because employer cover is not enough.

Physician assistants go through the proper training and practice under the guidance of a licensed physician.It’s a rewarding, fulfilling and noble career that keeps the community in good health and promotes national productivity.
