if I get a high score on my GED and SAT can I get accepted to a university?

I plan on going to Med school in the future. I want to study obstetrics and gynecology.. I was just wondering if it was possible for me to get accepted to a university without meeting all the requirements (4 years of H.S) thanks in advance

Is this a positive pregnancy test?

I took a pregnancy test yesterday afternoon and there was one dark pink line and one very light pink line. It was a first respone test and the directions said it may be light, but this was very light. I took another one that evening and had the same results. Then I took a clear blue digital one and got a not preg result but I’ve read that first response is more accurate. Does anyone know which one I should believe??

Okay…First response detects as little as 25 MIU’s of HCG..the pregnancy hormone. Clearblue won’t detect until you have between 100-175 at least in your urine….It doesn’t matter if it’s a very faint or not, it’s still a line and it says your pregnant especially twice in the same day and if it happened within the 10 minute time frame then it’s definately positive! You’re pregnant!! Congratulations! Call and schedule prenatal appointment and start taking prenatal vitamins…You can get a bottle of 100 at walmart for about $4.00!

my period is 16 days late after taking morning after pill?

my period was supposed to start 16 days ago but i didnt come on. I took morning after pill levonelle 6 weeks ago. I took a pregnancy test last week and it came back negative. I have no pregnancy symptoms but also no signs that my period is about to start either. Could i still be pregnant either though i had a negative test or is it likely the morning after pill has made my period late?

If I were you I would take another pregnancy test because morning after pills do not always work. Your period might just be late but if you take another pregnancy test then you can be sure that you’re not pregnant, which I’m sure is what you want to know at this stage.

Is Oncology a depressing field/specialty??

I am I high school junior and i’m sure i want to be a doctor. I am interested in oncology (mainly pediatric) mostly and sort of interested in obstetrics and gynecology. But a friend told me that oncology is a really sad and morbid field and that I’ll have to watch my patients die and it will be a very painful career. I really have an interest in cancer and cancer treatment, but is the career really that depressing??

I guess it depends on how you look at it. It can be a great field.

My late husband had leukemia, and he had a wonderful oncologist/hematologist. The doctor was a very positive person, right up to the end. I visited him in his office a few times after my hubby died, and thanked him for all he did.

You can have the chance to make a difference in the lives of people who are facing what is probably the greatest challenge of their lives.
